Dalton Heating & Air is a Garrison Partners company serving Paradise, NV with AC repair, heat pump installation, and furnace repair. Paradise is unlike any other Las Vegas-area market we work in: most of the housing stock was built between the 1980s and early 2000s, a huge share of it sits outside Las Vegas city limits under Clark County permitting rules, and the Mojave heat punishes undersized equipment faster than homeowners expect. If your system failed in July or is making noise it should not make, call (775) 593-7060 and a live person answers, day or night.
Why Paradise Homes Are Different
Paradise is an unincorporated Clark County community, not a city with its own building department. That single fact changes how HVAC work gets done here. Permits and inspections run through Clark County, and the process moves on county timelines, not city ones. A contractor who mostly works inside Las Vegas city limits may not know those steps well. We do.
The housing stock is another factor. Paradise is dominated by large master-planned communities built from the 1980s through the 2000s: stucco and tile-roof single-family homes on the east side near Boulder Highway, plus dense apartment and commercial development along the Strip corridor. Many single-family homes have rooftop package units or split systems squeezed into tight attic spaces. The attics are the problem in summer. When outside air is 108°F, an unconditioned attic can push 130°F or more, which cooks wire insulation, capacitors, and control boards faster than the same equipment would degrade almost anywhere else in the country.
There is also a pattern we see specifically in east Paradise, near Boulder Highway and the older neighborhoods that went up in the 1990s. Many of those homes had AC units sized to older comfort standards, undersized by modern Manual J calculations. The result is a system that runs nonstop through July and August, never really catches up, and burns out a compressor by about year 12. When we get a no-cooling call in that part of Paradise in July, undersized equipment is one of the first things we check.
Styles & brands we work with

Our Main Paradise Services
These are the three jobs Paradise homeowners call us about most, and each one has its own page with local pricing and detail.
AC Repair in Paradise
When a system stops cooling in Paradise, it is usually a capacitor, contactor, fan motor, or a refrigerant leak. The extreme UV and dry heat here age those electrical parts fast, and monsoonal storms in July and August add dust that coats condenser coils and drives head pressure up. Most repair calls we run in Paradise finish as a single-visit fix with the price in writing before any work starts. AC Repair in Paradise

Heat Pump Installation in Paradise
Heat pumps are a strong fit for Paradise winters and shoulder seasons, when temperatures are mild and a heat pump can handle both cooling and heating efficiently. The install usually means replacing a rooftop package unit or swapping an air handler in a tight attic space. Sizing matters more here than owners expect, because an undersized heat pump will run constantly from May through September. Heat Pump Installation in Paradise

Furnace Repair in Paradise
Furnace repair calls in Paradise spike in December and January, when desert nights drop into the 30s and a system that sat idle since March finally gets asked to work. The most common issues are failed igniters, dirty flame sensors, and blower motors that seized or shorted after months of disuse. We stock common furnace parts on our trucks so the first visit can often finish the repair the same day. Furnace Repair in Paradise

Brands We Service in Paradise
Our technicians carry factory training for Carrier, Trane, and Lennox equipment, plus Goodman systems that fill a large share of Paradise’s 1990s and 2000s tract homes. We keep common capacitors, contactors, igniters, and fan motors stocked on trucks for those brands, which is why many Paradise calls finish in one visit instead of two. See our brands for the full list.

AfterPricing for HVAC Company in Paradise, NV
| Service | Typical range in Paradise |
|---|---|
| AC repair (capacitor, contactor, fan motor) | $150 – $650 |
| Furnace repair (igniter, flame sensor, blower motor) | $150 – $700 |
| Full AC system installation | $3,500 – $7,500 |
| Preventive tune-up | $80 – $200 |
What pushes a Paradise repair toward the top of that range is usually access, not parts. A rooftop package unit in July heat, a split system crammed into a 130°F attic, or a system with dust-packed coils from monsoon season all take longer to work on than a clean ground-level unit. Whatever the number, you will see it in writing before we start, and every repair carries a written guarantee for a full year.
